After-School Club

AFTER-SCHOOL CLUB POLICY
The After-School Club is available on a turn-up, daily basis from 3.30-5.30pm. Every quarter of an hour is charged at 70p (payable in arrears on next term?s bill), and parents are asked to sign in when they collect children.

At the Club, children may complete homework, play games, use the computers or watch videos. There is also the opportunity to do cooking and music practice, as well as to interact with other children of different ages. A number of national After-School Club competitions have been entered and won.

Snacks from the children?s lunch boxes may be eaten and the club is often used to fill in time around other after-school activities and music lessons.

A designated area of Symes classrooms, Monmouth Hall and the After-School Club room is used.

Any pupil who has not been collected from school by 3.45pm, if parents are delayed, will be sent/taken to the After-School Club to await collection. The child would not be left alone with one adult, but a parent/friend/guardian would be contact about collection.
