Chard School, situated just 5 miles from the meeting point of the counties of Dorset, Devon and Somerset, is a small school with about 100 pupils that provides academic excellence within a happy and caring environment for 2-11 year olds. It has small classes and specialist subject teachers throughout. 

Fees are highly competitive and the school is non-selective, relying on an excellent team of staff to encourage high standards and to raise expectations.  The curriculum is extensive and varied, and includes French and Spanish, as well as high standards and variety in Games, Music and Art. There are breakfast and homework clubs every day, plus a large range of after school activities.
